I'm getting these swirlies (Wood grain like pattern) on my negative scans. Does anyone know where these are coming from- no i'm sober so it's not that. The negatives are clean of any weirdness(oil, gooey stuff, etc...) so I'm convinced its my scanner - epson 1650. I have found most control panels are resource intensive on a dedicated server with 2GB of ram, I end up with less than 800MB free. Just recently got a lightmeter and after some testing the meter seems to be about 3 stops hot. Is this normal for a meter to be hot or cold?Don't understand. Are you talking about an exposure meter or a colour balance meter ???Are you comparing your reading to your camera reading ? Does your camera have spot metering or multi type metering ? I would guess that since the light meter is averaging a larger area that it would give a " false " reading. False, only in the sense that your camera could be metering on a darker portion of the subject. See what i'm getting at ?Lightmeter. What kind of bottles? If they're baby bottles, they've probably got milkstone in them. Try filling them with vinegar and letting them soak overnight, then scrub them out with a stiff bottle brush. I always found vinger or baking soda with hot water. I want to buy filters but I don't know what sizes I need to get.. can anyone help?If you look at the end of the lense you will see the specs for the lense. I have all of the game icons that I need and I created one large folder, made a .iso for that large folder and ftp'd it to the box. I can move the thumnails to each individual folder and such, and rename it to .tbn, .jpg or .png and nothing happens. I open the game folder and put the .png/jpg in the same spot as the default.xbe, and still nothing. I erased the XBMX/userdata/thumbnails/programs info, where i read that there could be old icon information. I can view the icon while looking through the filemanager.... so it works. I've recently purchased a commercial drinks carbonator from the US for use in the UK and, of course, when I tried to connect the UK CO2 bottle to the equipment the male thread on the bottle doesn't fit the female thread on the gas regulator that comes with the machine. I want to source a UK supplier who can offer a suitable adaptor to allow me to make the connection safely!Most regulators are made so that you can unscrew the nipple that the nut (that connects to the CO2 bottle) slips on.
